Trump has done 18 of his 23 mainstream TV interviews with Fox News
Donald Trump's love of morning show Fox & Friends is no secret (paywall). Nor is his "billionaire bromance" with media mogul and Fox owner Rupert Murdoch.
So it's little surprise that yesterday he gave his 18th interview to the channel—plus another one for Fox News Radio, according to CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller, who has chronicled presidential media interviews since the Clinton administration.

As US president, Trump has done 23 interviews with major TV networks. NBC/MSNBC have the next most, with just three Trump interviews. Knoller told Politico that no other administrations he's covered have had such a disparity.
Most glaringly, Trump has never given an interview to industry giant CNN, which he has repeatedly derided as "fake news." He has, however, given two sit-down talks with the Christian Broadcasting Network, and one with Mike Huckabee—father of Trump's press secretary Sarah Huckabee—for Trinity Broadcast Network.

He also appears to prefer talk shows like Fox & Friends to more regular news shows on Fox, despite anchor Bret Baier publicly calling for Trump to sit down with him.
Trump's print interviews have been much more spread out—with no seeming bias for the Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal. In fact, despite constantly deriding the New York Times as "failing," Trump has a native New Yorker's devotion to the paper.
The White House didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on this story. We'll update if they do.
